Last week Mary, Margaret and Rowena went to Wittenham Clumps. A grey drizzling day on arriving , but gradually detail appeared out of the mist.
We wandered with our cameras into this mystical place. First experimenting with “intentional camera movement” and then just walking around, all the time talking and seeing what the other was doing. “What settings are you using?”. “Look at this”. Mostly “isn’t this lovely?” and “I am really enjoying myself”.
Chilled, but happy, we decanted to a local cosy cottage for a cup of tea and a slice of cake. Driving back to Marlow we were refreshed and full of even more enthusiasm for photography.
Good company and a shared passion for trying to capture light………..that’s what being in a camera club means to this member.
Oh, and a few fun edits also arose a few days later!
